Is there anyone out there who has the Cele 633 O/C to 950 on the Abit BH6? (with ABIT Slotket III) If so, what Soft Menu Choices are you using? and at what Core? This is what I currently have set up:

CPU OP - User Define
Turbo Freq- Disabled
Ext Clock - 100 MHZ (1/3)
Multiplier Factor - 9.5
Sel100/66 # Signal- High
AGPCLK/CPUCLK - 2/3
L2 Cache Latency - Default
Speed Error Hold - Disabled
Core Voltage - 1.85v (couldn't get it stable with anything less).

Is there anything else in Bios Features Setup that needs to be set to run this optimal?

Also, what other utilites should I run to make sure my system is stable? I have run SiSoft Sandra, but don't think it is taxing the system very much.

I think this is the last upgrade I will be making on my BH6....Been a nice board.

One more quick thing...Anything out there that will tell me CPU temp for the BH6, without having to go into bios? Thanks.

btalbott, I have the BH6 with a P3 700e @ 868mhz here. That's 124mhz fsb. Your bios settings look good. I set L2 Cache Latency @ 1 when at all possible, If it wont run stable then I choose default. My P3 runs stable with it set to 1 ;)
You can't get cpu temp on this mobo without an external sensor, sorry. You can get mobo temp and you can monitor it with Motherboard Monitor. I don't have the URL so :( no link.
Somebody here can get it to you tho, or do a search.
That's a nice upgrade for this mobo, there's a bit more time left in this good old BH6 I figure, maybe put it out to pasture next year eh?
Memory timing is important, if you can set it to 2-2-2 then you will have a faster system.

I have two bh6's running the 633@950.One is the early model bh6,it runs the chip stable at 1.70 with no problems. The other is the bh6 ver.1.2,it needs it at 1.85,and it too is very stable.Their settings are as yours are in the bios. Both run cool to the touch, with stock cooling. The bh6/1.2 runs the ss bios,I dont remember what the 1.0 runs, but its the one b4 the ss.I may go amd after these,Intel is going to a 478 pin socket after they just went to the 423 pin socket for the p4.That bites. In other words, people with p4's now would need another mo/bo for faster p4's.Least thats what I read in this months Maximum Pc mag.Later........

Thanks. Does it really matter if you select the L2 Cache Latency to 1? I have mine set to default. What impact does this have on performance? Thanks.
