Cel 1ghz or PIII 550 on BH6?

Which one of these chips would have the overall better performance. Do you think the Cel 1ghz would outmark the PIII550 by much?? Play mostly 3d firstperson games. Voodoo 5 5500.

a celery 1ghz would beat the pants off of a p3 550! :Q
 
A good formula would be PIII 800 = Celeron II 1000. You give away about 200mhz going from a PIII to CII. The Celeron II 1000 is a great upgrade path for the price!
 
Another opinion for you:

I have a system with a Celeron 950 and another with a P3-733. The benchmarks on these two are almost identical.
