I love ordering stuff for work from CDW.

Our sales rep is great and on the ball!

I can fax, email, or phone in my order.

I just got off the phone with her and I had no sooner hung up the phone than I received my confimation email.

Probably not the cheapest place most of the time, but for business accounts it just rocks!

I'm going to order a laptop from CDW through my school. They haven't replied to my e-mail, but do you have to pay tax regardless of the state you are in, kind of like Dell SB?

I used to use them and they were great. We switched to Insight because CDW won't charge sales tax (and we're legally required to pay it). Instead of making the accounting dept. figure out how much we owe our financially screwed up state, we decided to use someone else who will do it for us.

You're right, their reps are first class. In fact, I'm using a cordless CDW mouse they sent me for being such a good customer.

Wow. Never thought I'd hear that! I hate 'em... Service is good, but the prices on day-to-day stuff sucked last time I was in charge of ordering...

I always liked FCSI.net... Used them for years at 2 different companies. Great guys!

We use CDW (well, CDW-G anyway) for a good portion of our orders. You're right, they aren't the cheapest place, but when we can place an order at 4pm and have the package here by 10am the next day, you get our business :)

They stock a lot of high-end / corporate stuff that newegg doesn't carry (like laptop accessories and the Maxtor server-line IDE drives) but for anything newegg does carry, the CDW prices are much higher.

I work for one of their main competitors, and I still think CDW is great. I just want to be as great as they are! :)

Are you guys aware that CDW price matches with online retailers?

I found a cheaper ATI video card for my Mac at a small retail shop online, and they quickly price matched it even though it wasn't one of the big boys.

Learn something new every day, thanks. That makes them even better :)

Their prices suck, even the discounted corp pricing sucks. But its a good to buy certain higher-end products.
