CDW ads

I'm sure plenty of people have seen the CDW ads running around on TNN and other stations. I love them. Especially the people that this admin guy has to deal with. I believe Joe or John is his name. Very funny. Some of my favorites are:

"I just fried the motherboard...and the fartherboard."
"The server was full so I deleted a whole bunch of files. You did have those backed up, didn't you?"
"Nevermind, I fixed it, but it still doesn't work."

hehe. Thing is, I can totally relate to all the stuff that this guy is going through being an admin and having to deal with User Issues like that daily. What is your favorite one of those ads? Or favorite line out of them?

You actually hit that right on the mark, i like those three. As well I have to deal with these people 🙁 all to many are familiar. Seriously we still have people who wonder why their monitor is black. . . .TURN IT ON!@!!@@#$#$

Those ads are great. I haven't had to do user support in a while but I still remember one mac-trained person who sat down at her Windows PC and decided to "clean up" the organization of her C: drive by moving all the folders around including the Windows folders. She mangled her drive to the point where I had to reinstall Win98. D'oh!

Dude, I've seen people who are lucky to chew gum and walk at the same time.

Best one I've had in a while is a guy who thought that laptops were indestructable. You should have seen what was left of it. Quite humorous. 🙂
