CDRWin won't detect Lite-On 32x burner?

Anyone know what is causing this? I reinstalled XP with no help. I have a Lite-on (Cendyne) 32x burner, and CDRWin3.8G and it won't detect the burner. Nero does and burns just fine.

It's likely that they haven't added support for that model yet. Their web page says all models of Lite-On are supported but I take that to mean that all models at the time the software was released are supported.

If Nero is working, it's a CDRWin problem, not an XP problem.

I have CDRwin burning my Cendyne (Lite-on) 32x on XP.

No config necessary.

Try downloading and installing an ASPI layer.

Download the Aspi update from Roxio/Adaptec, and then download Force-Aspi (do a search) to allow you to install the update on XP

i think you need to upgrade to cdrwin 4.0a or something. i know i had to do that since 3.8 didn't support my plextor 24x. then it worked great.
