Anyone know what may cause this error from CDRWin? using latest version, 3.8b, with a HP 9210i scsi, 8x4x32 drive and any type of copying/recording in CDRWin gives me this START DAO RECORDING error--tried imaging to disk and on-the-fly, both fail with same error. am using latest HP firmware, 1.0e. CD-ROM settings, as per suggested by CDRWin, Sync Data checked, Disconnect checked, Auto-notification unchecked. using ALT-CTRL-DEL, killed all but Explorer and Systray, uninstalled Logitech Mouseware (i had problems with Mouseware during it's beta stages), changed scsi ID's around, updated ASPI drivers, updated firmware and Win98 drivers for my scsi card (Tekram 390u2w). Fooled around with mobo (BP6) bios, non-overclocked. I can't think of anything else to try, and have done multiple searches for HP drives and CDRWin. I've tried at least 3 different media, 64min and 70min included. Strange thing was, this configuration was working fine a month ago. Coincidentally, Easy CD Creator 4.02 is giving me similar problems 🙁
