Ok, I knew that I was on the edge with my old CPU and power supply (Aopen 235watt, and a 750T-bird @950MHz) But I could play QIII, CS, or anything else for hours with no problems what so-ever. I purchased a CDRW and could not get it to run at all. Once in a while I could burn a file, but I wrote it off as either a bad burner new out of the box, or worse, system component incompatabilities.
I just recently up-graded to a 1.4gig T-Bird and knew my 235watt was never going to handle it, so along with it I bought an Enermax
350watt supply.

Guess what? I'm burning the crap out of CD's now.

The main error I was getting was:"CD does not have enough space" (or something to that effect), it would not crash my comp. or anything like that. It would just give me the same error, even though I was using a fresh CD.

So if you are having weird write problems you don't think you should be getting, take a look at your system specs VS power supply out-put, and if your near the edge, I'd suggest you look at your supply as a possible culprit.
