I have an Iomega 8X4X32 CDRW that has been producing music discs that play on some machines and not on others. They will play in portable stereos but not my car CD or Denon DVD player. They play fine on the Iomega burner. I use EZCD creator from Adaptec. Can someone tell me what's happening, and whether I need to get a new burner, software or what? If a new CDRW is needed any recommendations as to what would produce compatible discs (for home and auto listening)?

DVD players and car CD players commonly have problems playing CD-R's. Try using a different brand of CD-R, TDK (made in Japan), maybe. Or if you're using CD-RW's switch to CD-R.

Thanks. Any other responses? I was curious if the Iomega was a substandard CD-RW since I don't see many here owning one.
