cdrw dvd-ROM combo drives?

Anyone seen any reviews or better yet tried any of the cdr dvd combo drives?
I'm not a heavy user of either so having both in one would be a nice money and space saver.

DVD ROM not a DVD writer.

Anyone? anyone?
 
i bought the hp 9900i when it came out, it is a 12x4x8x32 drive and i am very happy with it, no probs whatsoever (knock on wood) anyway it was quite expensive when it came out but i got a really good deal on it i couldnt turn down. this was 9 months or so ago so it may be quite reasonable now.🙂
 
You can get a good deal on a Toshiba 16x cdr writer/combo drive now that has the cdr/rw/dvd/reader and it seems to be a nice drive overall as well. Look for it on Newegg. It's not too bad of a price and it is a fairly fast writer.
