Errors in Event Viewer:
The device, \Device\CdRom0, has a bad block.
Errors in My computer:
if Cd recording is enabled: it doesn't read the drive. When you click on the cddrive icon it shows nothing in the folder.
If cd recording is disabled it says:
In the title of the message: Disk is not formatted
Body of the message: Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not comaptible with Windows
I need serious help with this problem. this has been going for 5 motnhs-12 months now. Sometimes, periodicly and rarely, the drive reads the disks and then it just stops reading them.
