I've run into a problem with my Mandrake 10.1 box recently . I can burn a ISO correctly via cdrecord [To my BENQ 16XDVD RW] , but after the burn goes succesful I get a strange ass error
"CDRECORD: No such device or Address Cannot send SCSI AMD via ioctl"
After that the pc is completely unable to find the writer via cdrecord --scanbus , however the device continues to work perfecly in Read-Only mode . Restarting the pc solves this error
The error crops up both with my custom kernel as well as default / failsafe kernel.
Any ideas ?
