CDR Media whats better: Memorex, Imation, TDK, or Verbatim???
i want to by a 50 pack, and their all about 23 bucks
i tryed the kingston hypermedias and i have had 5 burns, all coasters.

I've had very good success with all of the above. You can even add Maxell to that list.

Buy whichever of the above is the best deal... Which is usally the Imation, from my experiences.

In your list the TDK is the best media...I have used many of the Imation..4x, 8x, 12x never a coaster unless I screw....but they are not made at the best factories...so shelf life of the data will "not" be as long as on the TDK certified plus..

i didn't have a single problem with ones from outpost.com

you use nero, right? have you tried another program?

I've had good experience with Memorex. But I highly recommend the TEAC 50 pack as well.

actualy, the tdk is a 100 pack i think for about 40 bucks then it is 30?

I've been getting fantasic results with GigaByte CDRW 80min media.

Not a single coaster, all CDROM drives I own can read them without prob, and they're damn cheap in bulk.

One of the best things about Plextor CDRW burners is that they can read and burn even the lowest quality media without a problem.

I`ve used all those with no problems. Only ones I have ever had a problem with are the PNY disks. IMHO, they suck.

Yep, Plextor drives will write just about anything. I have even written at 12X on media that says 2X MAX. That stuff wasn't rated 2X when thats all there was, it is just so cheap they couldnt guarantee above 2X. Needless to say my Plextor is fine with it.
