CDR in WinXP

Hey guys, hopefully you can help me out with a question i have about burning CDs in WinXP. I dont really want to use the built in support for CDR's since its pretty crappy IMO and it doesnt support a lot of CD types, but when i try to use a 3rd party program like CDRWin it says "cannot start ASPI32.exe" or something everytime at startup and doesnt recognize my Plextor Plexwriter 16x10x40. Anyone know how to fix this problem? thanks.

There are some places you can download and install Aspi drivers I think. Look on google

sounds like you have no aspi layer installed.
read this page fully & if you want ForceAspi, get it from here! 🙂

wel... WinXP has excellent capabilities for burning audio cd's and data cd's... you can't really make cd-copies though... for that, I have Nero installed.
