cdr/dvd combo drives

im building a gaming rig and i want to limit the amount of optical drives i put in my rig. do you think a combo drive is worth getting. I was looking at the LG 48x24x48x16. any thoughts???

thats a pretty solid drive

Combo drives are really the only option if you want to save space, unless you get a DVD burner.
