CDR Drive tray wont stay shut

I just put in a new Yamaha 16x writer and after updating the firmware and burning a cd the try wont stay shut. Ive tried powering down, rebooting, putting in a cd, etc. Any ideas?

Have you tried to update again? Is there a different version you could try?

I might do that, but im still playing with it, I don't know if its the firmware or what. I was using easy cd creator and that always does some funky ejection stuff when its done burning, like ejecting it then sucking it back in right away, its been fubared since it did that.
