Hi there,
I have troubles with CDEx running properly under XP SP2... the CDEx forum is full of people complaining about ASPI layers not being properly sen or used by the application.
I used to recommend this program, along with EAC, for ripping CDs, but not anymore.
What's a good CD ripper that does not use ASPI layers? I know EAC and CDEx will have ASPI issues... anything else? I don't really need an MP3 encoder as well, since I prefer dbpoweramp anyway...
PS: if you think I'm overly concerned about CDEX (which has already crashed one WinXP installation on my SFF), look at these threads:
