CDex can't see CD drives...

I wonder what's going on here... Went to use CDex the other day to make some MP3s (from a CD I bought legally ), only to find out that it can no longer see either of my CD drives. It worked before, and it does work in XP - I've seen it. I wonder why it decided to quit now? I tried uninstalling and re-installing it, to no avail. It has to be this program that's having problems, because everything else on my system - games, PowerDVD, Nero, etc. - can see the drives just fine. Any suggestions?

This happened to me also. I tried all sorts to try to get CDex to see all my CD Rom drives. The only way I got it to work was to dowload and install version 150 BETA 6 then it recognised the drives. R U running version 140?

I ended up ripping a CD from my burner because it wouldn't see my main CDrom... I've gone back to the old dBpowerAMP that I've used for a while. Good luck though...
