CDC reported last year that 43% of first marriages end in separation or divorce within 15 years??

Why is the CDC (Center for Disease Control) doing a report on separation and divorces??

isnt that kind of wierd??

*shrugs* maybe they didnt have anything better to do.

my psych teacher told me the rate is about 50%. looks like he wasnt off by much.

Hmm, I am 2/3 of the way there, my 10'th wedding anniversary is in a few weeks :D

Look on the bright side. The other 50% or so end in death.

Well, my partents just celebrated their 20th anniverary.

Oh, and my mom is a devout christian and my dad is a stout atheist. So that just goes to show that even a seemingly impossible relationship can work if you love each other and work at it. I think (and so do my parents) that people give up to easily.
