I'm planning to replace my HP 9300i (10/4/32) CDR/RW drive with a faster model. I'd like to get a 24x writer, but whatever I get has to write to the newer 100 minute media. Reason for this is that I'm doing SVCD titles, and want to keep down the # of disks I write to. I've already asked HP about my present writer, and they say it doesn't recognize this (100 minute disk) media.
I'd really appreciate any pointers to CDR/RW drives that recognize these disks; it would save time and eliminate a lot of waste. It usually takes 3 - 80 disks to write out a movie, and I can do the same movie with 2 disks using these larger capacities. Thanks in advance for any information.
