cd tray wont stay shut

my new pc started acting up today, the cd tray will not stay close, I was playing a game fine , then I decided to removed the cd from the cd rom and now the tray just opens back up when I try to close it, any ideas?
 
Do you have any canned air; there might be something blocking the sensor that detects tray open/close?
You could also try shutting computer down and opening the tray fully (gently!) then closing; that might reset the sensor.
