just curious as to how much you would pay for a spindle of cdrs (12x or higher, 50-pack or so) from a b&m store. I'm going to a pretty big LAN for the weekend and I'm short on CDs and don't have time to order any online so I was thinking of swinging by compusa or worst buy. any ideas?
 
Depends on the brand.

50 pk about $5 or FAMIR

You can get a 200 pack Khypermedia for $10 AMIR I believe.
 
You can get a spindle of 50 Memorex 48x 700MB for around $15 at Wal-Mart last I checked.
 
I go to PCClub for my packs, they have cheap generics in a cake, pretty much good for the here and now, a real b!itch to store once opened. But they sell 100 for around 20 bucks or so. They also can't take much abuse, so using them short term is great, specially at things like lan parties, where you just need the disc now....
