well the topic pretty much says it but here are a little more details.
the CD-RW is a Teac 16/12/40x. it works flawlessly except that sometimes (quite often) it locks the disc inside.
at some instances it would eject just normally, and at other it would hold the disc - pressing the eject button does nothing.
and it's not like it does it with a certain disc - one and the same disc will eject once, and the next time will get stuck.
to work around this I found 2-3 solutions:
- disable and then re-enable the device in device manager;
- use Nero and the Eject Medium option;
- restart.
this is WinXP on an intel BX mobo IDE controller.
