cd roms

I burned some files onto a cd with my desktop, PII400 with win xp and a plextor burner, and tried to transfer them to an amd 950 running win 95 and an older 24x cdrom. It will only "see" some of the files. They aren't hidden files or anything like that. I think it's due to the older cdrom or possibly just the older software.

Is there a software patch or something that will allow this oher computer to read this cd? I've tried both cd-r and cd-rw cd's.

Thanks!!

I don't think there's any possible software solution.
Some older cd-roms hate multisession discs or hate cd-r/cd-rw in general.
Try recording single session ("No multisession") cds and closing them after recording.

Thanks!! Using a new cd and putting just the files that I wanted to transfer on it worked 🙂

Thanks Again!!
