CD-ROM tweaking.....

Is it the supplemental cache size you're supposed to knock down to "small" to increase performance, or is it the "optimize access pattern for" that you are supposed to set to "no read ahead"? I can't remember. Also, is there anything else you can do to increase your CD-ROM drive's performance?

I've had some nice speed improvement by flashing the firmware. Check for an update
