CD-ROM support for Adaptec 31205

I have an Adaptec 31205 SAS/SATA RAID card with 10 HDs attached to it and 1 optical drive. I have enabled options for CD/DVD drive support and bootable drive on the card's BIOS but still can't get the card to boot from CD or get Windows to see the drive. There is no option in the Adaptec Storage Manager that I can see that will allow me to assign a drive letter to the drive and I can not see the drive in device manager or Disk Management. I am running Server 2008 Enterprise x64 with the latest drivers for the card.
