CD-Rom Ripping Speeds

so, are their any good cdroms that rip fast? i have a 12x burner that rips decently, but then i had my dvd-r that ripped very fast and now i miss those ripping speeds. anybody know of any good cdroms that will rip fast?

One of the best cd rippers I have seen is a dvd-rom drive...the liteon 163 or whatever versiuon it is on now...It is 16x dvd-rom and 48x cd reading, however it rips at an astounding 44x. It also rips dvd disk at 10-11x...I just ripped an old silver non dual layer dvd the other day and I saw 11.4x but averaged over 10x for entire rip...
