not sure what u mean.. but basically i have this asus 52x cd-rom.
for every CD it reads using NERO CD SPEED.. it reports a few damaged sectors around the beginning of the CD about 50% of the time (i can press restart on the test, and the damage sectors might or might not appear again). can someone possibly tell me if this is because there's a defect with the CD-ROM and could the drive possibly copy files incorrectly because of this?
