CD-rom drive vanishes from win2k??

I have a dual boot setup, win2k and windows NT

BIOS always detects plextor SCSI cdrom drive, attached to 2940UW scsi card

But these days when I boot into win2k, I have no cdrom drive, grrrrr (winNT is fine)

Any suggestions/ideas/qik fixes?

thanks

What does Device Manager say? Is there a conflict with the SCSI card? Does it show the drive in there?

Have you tried removing the SCSI hard from W2K's device manager and letting it re-detect?

I am having this exact problem with a Smart and Friendly 4012 CD-R connected to a 2940UW Pro. Win2k will only show my IDE CD-Rom drive.
