CD-ROM Drive letter changes in Win2k?

I want to change the cdrom drive letters in windows 2000 , but havent been able to find any way to do it.
Baffled,...

my win2k is not at this location, but from memory:

Double click add/remove hdware/wizard screen appears /add-troubleshoot/I want to select hdware from list/highlight cdrom (flyout)/change settings

It didnt work for me .. maybe you could post again when you are near a win2k comp.
I was unable to find the CDRom flyout that you mentioned...
Baffled and continuing to try..

You do it in the Disk Management tool.

(1) There are many ways to open the Disk Management tool. For example: Start menu>>Programs>>Adminstrative Tools>>Computer Management>>Disk Management.

(2) Right clip on the CD-ROM drive that you want to change. The "Change drive letter or path" is the top banner.

The process is similar to NT4, but more convenient.
