CD Rom Disc Speed

Can anyone tell me how to find the disc speed if it is not written on the disc its self?
I have about 25 that dont have the speed written on them. The writting on the disk is MEMOREX,CD-R
74 Min * 650MB.

If you already own them, just try burning with them.

most CD's out there should do 8x or 12x just fine.

In most cases, CD Identifier will tell you what you want to know. It is a small freeware package available here:
