Dear Members,
I have a question and I hope all my members can help me on this one. As we all tech gurus know that cd-rom drives have 2 audio outputs. On the back of the cd drive there is one connection for Audio out and another connection for Digital out. Now if someone can please help me. For the last year and a half I have been looking for a cable that I can plug from my DVD drive which has a Digital output socket to my Sound blaster Live Value card( I know it is old guys). Everyone Please help.
Thanks,
Icemanguru
P.S. On by the way I forgot. What is the tech term used for one of thoses boxes that go in the Dvd drive slots in the case that mointors your cpu's temp and all the fans connected to your tower?

The cable is not necessary anymore. Digital audio from an audio CD can be acquired over the EIDE bus.

"FanBus" (?) IIRC.
