When I rip a CD using EAC there is always an error on track 4, 5, or 6.

Anyone know why it's always one of these tracks? (i.e. the middle of the cd is weaker?)

This isn't just one CD.... it's all of them. And I keep my CD's in good shape - I don't see any scratches.

Use a different program.

I noticed something about the error...

The error is always found at time 18:16 on the CD. I get the error if I do all the tracks at once or if I do the just the problem track.

Anyone know what this is???

But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

I also read a lot of errors trying to copy newwer CD's is sometimes in the read speed.

Always try another CDR, slow write speed, and slow down read speed. I have found this to fix 90% of my problems.

Sounds to me like your CDROM is the problem. Try cleaning it, or try a different CDROM if you have one laying around.
