CD-R 200 pk $4.99 after rebate

When others are offering 100 packs free after rebates, how is this cheap?

If it was $5 with no rebates, then that would be interesting.

You missed out. Last week, Office Max had 2 100-packs FAR. The one was just 16x Hi-Val , but the other was 48x E3Works.

Also, last week, Staples had a 50-pack of Optimum 48x CDRs FAR.

It'll come around again, just wait.

the optimum brands are cheap. with other brands, i use my finger to wipe out smudges on the burned side of the cd. with optimum, when i use my finger, scratches galore. 😀

Just an fyi on this. The upc is the same as the ones for the 80 min 700 MB. They even ring up the same. I picked up 2 since they were 80 min. They seem fine so far, no coasters. I use them for my sons (4 yr old) tv shows he likes. I don't care if they don't last more than 2 years, he won't watch them after that anyway. And if he kills them before that, I'll just make another. Perfect for me in this situation.

these are sh!tty as hell. i got these from circuit city a few months ago when they have it NEGATIVE $10 after 2 rebates. i got BOTH rebates, so i actually got PAID to get 200 CDRs. no good. STI sucks. sure its cheap and free, but you lose your data easy as hell.

they scratch like theres no tomorrow and just give out after less then a year if you use the CD often.

i still use them, and i still have about 150 of them left. avoid these if you can.

I actually want these but all the CCs in my area are out. I've got a couple of crappy Smart and Friendly 8x burners from the Value America days that don't like the new CD-Rs. I moved them to the offices and a slow 74 minute disk would be fine to do back-ups. I tried using current Imation's in the burners but got nothing.

Anyone still using these things with modern media?
