CD-Player that can play MP3s?

Is there such a thing? I think I saw it before. For those lost, I want a CD-Player that can play MP3s. Like, I would have about (say 4megs a MP3) 175 songs per CD. Alot of music!!! So, is there such a thing?

Damn $200 bucks? Hmm, i'll think about that LOL! The only reason I'm asking is that I listen to mainly Rave/Trance/Dj music. So I have alot of mixes that are almost 130megs each.

Hey I was just going to place order on teh MTrip Tonite. I made about $150 from a tech job this weekend. Might as well get one of those..
Perfect timing.. time to read up on stuff.. 87 bucks.. that IJam Player is not 130.. what a rip off.. its teh same thing as the MPTrip
just the name.

After much soul searching and driving around Los Angeles County. I finally got my hands on a Philips MP3 CD player. I havent open it yet but when I do I will write a review.

I dont feel doing anything now, considering the frustration of Circuit City and their employees. However a cute "Trainee" in the Glendale store sure made my day..

I plan to take it with me on my Vacation.

TGG

my friend let me borrow the mptrip player. overall, it's pretty good. there are a few downsides though:

- it doesn't include a reverse skip. you can go to the next track, but not backwards.

- the 50 sec anti skip really applies to the mp3 songs only (at least from my friend's and my experience)

- the case looks/is very cheap...it's flimsy and shoddy - but it works so it's basically only a cosmetic concern

- there's an LCD that'll tell you what track you're on...but it won't be able to display the ID3 tag info (title, artist, bitrate, etc)

if you don't mind the lack of the reverse skip (or whatever you call it), this player would suit you well.

I know of the MPtrip, and it retails for 90 bucks at compugeeks.
however its that crappy buttons that most people are complaining about. The philips the only complaint is that its volume at full is not much.

I am going to open it in a another 1/2 hr.

toodles.

That's the thing, there is no truly high quality one out yet (all are still first gen). Of the ones that are out though, the philips Expanium is the one that comes closest.
