I installed my CD-RW 2 days ago, it works fine. My problem is that my computer does not see my dvd at all. I had hooked both of my drives up together but when I did that it didn't see either of them. So right now I have my CD-RW hooked up and not my DVD, tho it's still in the tower, with power and audio, but the ribbon cable's not hooked up. Right now the master/slaves go as:
Primary master:harddrive
primary slave:none
Secondary master:CD-RW
secondary slave:floppy drive
I have no clue why it won't recognize my dvd, but I do need to hook it up eventually. I have none of the master/slave jumpers hooked up, but it still says the above(I checked thru the system info in DOS mode)😕
