cd drive problem

I recently bought a new cd-r drive (aopen). It worked for about 2 days, then recently, it hasnt been reading any of my cds. The cds work on my other computer, jsut not this one. Ive checked bios and also the device manager and they both show my drive is connected and working fine. Its not the power either, cuz i can open the drive. What's wrong with my drive? My sister accidnetally put two cds into the drive once, could that have damaged the drive?

It is possible that the drive was damaged, if the laser was knocked out of alignment it would not read anymore. That could explain your problem.

ok thank u. Does that mean i need a new drive? Or can i rma the drive.
