CD drive messed up?

Okay, I just took a CD (audio) out of the CDROM drive on my computer, and I put another audio CD in. After I put it in and closed it, it started making a sound like it's spinning the CD really fast. And the light is blinking fast.

It won't eject the CD and it won't play it, what can I do?

I have another CDrom drive here, should I just turn my computer, plug in this CD rom and then be over with it?

or is there something else I can do?

How can I at least eject the CD?

Take a paperclip, straighten it out a bit and insert it in the small hole just under the tray. You may have to do it a couple of times. Then try the other cd that you know works.
Good luck!
