CD drive depth!

Hey guys,

Ive just built a new HTPC to find that my DVD drive is near enough backing into my Zalman CPU cooler, severely restricting airflow. Does anyone know if these drives come in a standard size or if they vary from one manufacturer to the next? If so does anyone know who makes shorter drives?!?
 
Some are longer than others. Lite-On has some of the shortest ones that I've seen. They should have physical size specs on their respective web pages...
