When my CD drive starts spinning, it causes my computer to hang for maybe 4 seconds. I assume during this time it's getting up to its maximum speed? It's very annoying, especially during games. Is there any way to prevent this?
I'm on my laptop (Acer 8100). My desktop's cd drive doesn't do this; however, its previous drive did, leading me to believe its an issue with some cd drives... there's gotta be something I can do to stop it though...
