CD Copying Software?

I need a good CD copying software like Clone CD but for some reason it wo n't work with my 'rebagged' Lite-On 40x12x48 drive. It needs to be able to get around most protection systems because I need to keep backup copies of my CD's. No, I'm not pirating but I hate to waste money because the CD went bad and I didn't make a copy earlier.
