while ez-cdcreator is easy to use, its got bugs especially in winXP where it wont run. Same case in WinMe where it would run and all. I had the version 5 of it, it kept crashing after a while, so I finally uninstalled it and put version 4 back. Right now I use Version 4 (5 is version 4 + some fancy faceplates) and Nero5.5

Nero, and CDRWin. And pray that EasyCD didn't turn your system into a pile of smoking rubble.

Nero is good for general use, clonecd and some others if you are burning ISO's and copy protected cds.

Easy CD Creator is crap.

Nero is my prefered application. EZCD Creator seems to get worse with every release.

Dudes, when you use EZ CD creator go with 5.0 and use the XP upgrade. My EZ CD works great in XP. I guess you just have to know what you are doing.

No, if you know what your doing then youll know that EZ CD is for those who have trouble installing and setting up AOL.

Nero is a MANS burning software!

LONG LIVE NERO!

Plus, why WOULDNT you want to use a burning utility that is named after an insane emperor of the greatest world power this planet has ever seen?

Did you notice that I said that EZ CD requires AOL? Hmm? Nope, didnt think so. Thats cause I didnt.

I said that because EZ CD is an oversimplified peice of donkey poo, much like AOL.

But then again, that IS my opinion. And yes, it usually comes from hell. Im evil that way ;)

I've used Feurio! for recording LPs. The track editor can't be beat, although I've never used Nero.

Infact I'm recording Johnny Winter's "Before the Storm" right now. I've got to get me to some record stores, this is great.

OK, don't laugh!

I just switched from EasyCD to Nero and there's something I don't know how to do: record without the 2-second silence between tracks. You know, like when you have a concert or a live mix :)

Where exactly is the damn setting, 'cause I haven't seen it?

You can highlight the songs and then right click on them and changed the pause between tracks right there. At least I think that's how it's done, it's been a while since I burned an audio disc.

Easy CD Creator will break all other CD burning software on your system.

It will also hose your OS if your OS happens to be Me, 2k or XP.

Do not even think of installing it.

Nero will play well with others.

I have Nero, CloneCD, and DiscJuggler.

I just got a CD writer too and it came with nero. Nero is great but their RW software sucked. DirectCD is much better so I just installed it and not the whole suite from Roxio.
