CD Burning Question

How come my CD-RW drive wont let me burn more that like 650 mb's or so when my cd's have a 700 mb capacity? Anyone know?

It may be your software not being able to make more than 650. It could be alot of things, have you tried different cds?

it's probably the software you're using, not the drive. Which software are you you using and have you checked for any updates?

I use Adaptech Easy CD Creater V 4.02 i believe i think its pretty recent,

adaptec 4 wouldn't let me do it either, i switched to using nero and i burn 700 mb cd's now.

cool, thanks for the help, im gonna try to upgrade to 4.03 if that doesnt work ill check out nero
