So basically I have the original cd's that I want to burn so I can have a copy in my car and at home, etc.. But I heard from somewhere that alot of the newer cd's will self destruct after being burned... is this true? edit: Ok ok ok, maybe not self destruct, but become unplayable....

I purchased the new greenday cd and tried to push all the files off the cd to my pc..... when I opened the D: drive there was only 1 flash file...??????.... wasup with these new cd's these days.

and yes I do own these cd's so there is no illegal act involved. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thats the problem... you cant just rip it to your pc.... when you open up the cd itself the only thing in there is a flash file that plays some retarded commercial....????>..
