i have been trying to burn some cd's on this computer. burning them from mp3s works great, but the problem comes from copyig already made cds. it gets to the last track and then cuts off in the middle of the song. this is with easy cd4. i tried using nero5.5, and it got to 99% of reading and froze (well...stopped moving for a good 20min). i dled and installed some aspi drivers for winxp, so that shouldnt be the problem. my cd and cd-r are on the same ide, but that shouldnt be a problem if they read first, then write, right?
this happens with all cds i try.
*edit*: i tired burning a wav w/ cdex, but it didnt work.
then i put the cd in my cdr, and it worked perfectly. so somethines wrong with my normal cd. anyone know what?
