I have an ACER 4X4X32 CDRW in my computer. I have been using it to burn CD's for a long time, and I use the Nero software to do it. Recently I bought a pack of Memorex 12x CD's with 700 Meg capacity and the burner refuses to write to the CD. I get errors in Nero saying:
power to the burner not being on
no IDE drive detected
or just the plain old ERROR message.
If I put in a different brand of CD, the process works as it normally would. The CD's do burn in my friends CD burner (creative/easy cd creator)
Anyone know what's up?
