Cd Burner Setup

I just got my first cd burner (Lite on) and I'm about to throw it in, but my question is does it matter if it is set up as a master, slave, etc? My entire system specs are in my sig, but my main hard drive (with os) is the primary master, my 2nd hard drive (data) is the primary slave, and my cd rom drive is setup as the secondary slave. Will it matter that the burner will be set up as the secondary master (I assume because it is the only one left) or will that be a problem? Thanks for any help.

I don't see it being a probelm, The most important thing is to make sure you have the CD-R and your regular CD-rom on differnt IDE's so if you copy a cd you are not moving all that data on just one cable but it looks like you already know that. CD-roms are seen as nothing more then another harddrive to the system it's the software that tells the OS how to handle the cd-rom or cd-r.
