I just installed windows 2000 and am having trouble getting my burner to work with it. For some reason after installing cdrwin it says that no cd rom recording device could be found. I also installed nero and it cannot find my burner as well. Checking my computer, my burner is not even listed anymore when it had been before. Does anyone know whats up. I read adaptec site and they said that they are not putting out an aspi layer for win2000 or something. I have an Adaptec 2940u2w with the latest win2000 drivers. My plextor is recognized in both programs as well as My computer. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it. Thanks
UPDATE: I restarted my computer witihout doing anything and nero is now working. CDRwin is not however. Should i still try those other drivers for my scsi burner?
