CD burner having problems reading CDRW's?

I just got some Memorex CDRW's, and it's clearly in the CDRW drive and it says it won't read it. What could be the problem?

I just burned a CDR, and it works just fine. dont know what the problem is

Not on Christmas! Anyways, I think I found some firmware to fix it, BUT I can only find DOS versions of it, not windows. I have XP. How can tat help/

It's doubtful, but could it be the burning program you are using? (or are you just using XP?)

I've tried other burning programs, no luck.

And yes i'm using XP

it won't let you format the disk either?

Try another disk, or try their (memorex) tech support on the their website.
