CD Burner , CDRWIN and WinXP

Hi,

I have a WinXP with TDK 12/10/32 cd burner.

I am trying to get CDRWIN working on my system as it is the best cdr software out there that is so powerful.
Anyway, I know I got my software working in Win2K and it was burning fine.

Now, in WinXP, I can't even get it to install properly. I have CDRWIN 3.8c.

Has anyone get XP working properly with CDRWIN ? If yes how did you do it ? How about the ASPI mess that you need with all the other WIN based OS ?

have you checked to see if there's an XP upgrade patch for your preset software or if you present version is XP compatible?

Go to Ahead Nero d/ls, find the "WNASPI32.DLL", download it and put it in the CDRWin folder. I have CDRWin 3.x working fine with XP

Thanks for the pointer. I will test this out once I get out of work

I don't believe CDR-WIN is officially supported under XP.

I've used version 3.8a and 4.0 under XP without problems.

Did you have to do the ASPI update ?
Did you fresh install your XP or upgrade from Win9x, or Win2k ?

Did you have to copy the .dll that Ginfest had suggested ?
