cd burner and motherboard question

I have a motherboard that supports up to 4 drives. Right now I have a cd rom drive, 2 hard drives, and a floppy. My question is does the floppy actually count as one of the 4 drives that is mentioned above? I am wondering because I want to add a cd-rw drive, but I'm not sure if I have room. My system is in my sig and the motherboard is a Tyan trinity s1854. Thanks for the help.

Well, if you take a look at your motherboard, then you should be able to tell. The floppy connector only supports the floppy drive. If you have two IDE connectors, then you should be able to use 4 drives. Hope this helps.
